The
Coral Ridge Power Squadron set sail for a progressive dinner on Saturday,
8 July 2000.
First
stop.. Ted and Betsy Kornowski's for cocktails and appetizers, following
a "shuttle bus" ride from a local bank parking lot.
Ted
is assisted by our overdressed past commander in driving the shuttles.
At
Ted and Betsy's, the party gets underway, and food is everywhere!

Everyone
begins heading out to the dock, where the boats are waiting to take us up
the ICW to the home of Howie and Evelyn Schlitt for dinner and dessert.
.
The
Commander's new boat is here with us today.
Congratulations
to the Rameys!
The
Binn's boat heads up the canal to the ICW. Betsy stays behind to
"tidy up" and will join us by car at the Schilitt's. That's the sign
of a great hostess.
The
weather holds for us, as we enjoy our trip up the ICW.
The
Fun House and Kokomo are already docked when we arrive on the B&B.
Ted is taking the fact that someone else is driving his boat in stride,
as he is already cooking dinner.
But,
dinner isn't quite ready yet, so we all go to tour Kokomo.
What
a beauty she is!
The
dinner is now ready to be served and everyone is pretty hungry.
What
a spread!
The
cooks horse around a bit, hey they've worked hard.. Thanks guys,
for doing such a great job cooking all that steak!
There
is one more little surprise before we all board the boats for the return
trip to the Kornowski's.. It is Betsy's Birthday, so our dinner was kinda
a nice big party for Betsy.
Happy
Birthday, Betsy!
and
a special thanks to Ted and Betsy and the Schilitts' for all their hard
work in making Coral Ridge Power Squadron's first local progressive dinner
a great success.
