OFFERED TO THE PUBLIC
This 8-hour course will qualify you for insurance discounts, 
membership in the Power Squadron and satisfies
Mandatory Education for Violators requirements (for tickets). 

If you were born after September 30, 1980,
it is required by law that you have a certificate stating 
you have taken a safe boating course in order to legally
operate a powerboat over 10 hp in Florida waters.
(see state regulations)

This course is given in Room E103
at Cardinal Gibbons High School in the
  4700 block of Bayview Drive in Fort Lauderdale between Oakland Park Blvd and Commercial Blvd. (closer to Commercial) on the East side.
